Baan Maikhao is village located on north west coast of Phuket Island. Elderly villagers in the village still using the old way of living by relying on nature and folk wisdom to earn money. This village is the epitome of the original local people. That is an elderly group still lead a simple life. Most tourists know Baan Mai Khao is a planes viewpoint. Don't know special the nature in the village was. I'll take you to the valuable and wonderful of this village.

First  meet a 74-year-old local philosopher who knows about local plants and the specialty of Baan Mai Khao. And  walk in the mud for visit the water buffalo. After that we will join activity for helping the elderly to plant organic vegetables or plant rice by season. Then you will learn how to survive life by plant all around village – you not plant – you not buy it’s free by nature. Next we will visit amazing beach of village. See the beach cover crops that help local people get as well as watching demonstrations of collecting and planting. The hidden gems of village is sand spa : The hidden gem in the village is the sand spa : Sand spa refers to the knowledge of village people using sand to relieve body aches by burying them in sand. This is folk wisdom and can only be done here. The last  learn catch a sea cicada with local tools and bring it to dinner.
